JFRoche Photography's hope is to capture the incidental images in daily life that highlight

"Life's Simple Beauty".

Chincoteague Ponies, immortalized by the book "Misty of Chincoteague" by Marguerite Henry have been managed by the Chincoteague Island, Virginia, volunteer fire department for 92 years. Each year the ponies are rounded up during "pony penning week" and swum across the bay from Assateague Island, where they live wild, to Chincoteague Island where an auction is held at the fireman's carnival and the foals are sold. This helps to manage the herd and the proceeds support the fire department.

It's an experience of a lifetime to witness this famous event. "Life's Simple Beauty"....it's all around us.
